The International English Language Testing System (IELTS) is an English language proficiency test. The test consists of four sections: Reading, Writing, Speaking and Listening. The IELTS is an English Proficiency exam that evaluates a person's ability to communicate in English to study or work in a country where English is the primary language. The IELTS paper pattern evaluates the exam taker's IELTS Listening, IELTS Reading, IELTS Writing , and IELTS Speaking abilities. For both the IELTS Academic and IELTS General Training forms of the exam, the British Council, IDP, and Cambridge ESOL Examinations conduct and administer the exam. It should be noted that the Listening and Speaking aspects of the IELTS Academic and General Training modules are identical; however, the Reading and Writing sections of the IELTS Academic and General Training modules are structured differently.
